AusTrials welcomed the Mayor of Brimbank, Councillor Bruce Lancashire and around 60 guests to the official opening of our newest site located in the Sunshine Private Hospital, St Albans in Melbourne’s west.
The state-of-the-art facility, named AusTrials Sunshine, will mark the expansion of AusTrials from Queensland into Victoria and enhance medical research in the region. This milestone further solidifies AusTrials’ commitment to advancing health care and improving patient outcomes. Since its establishment in 2009, AusTrials has been at the forefront of medical innovation, delivering results in a highly ethical environment that prioritises the needs of the patients. This new site further consolidates our commitment to pioneering medical research and development in Australia.
AusTrials Sunshine will offer a wide range of clinical research services, including Phase Ib-IV interventional trials in general medicine and vaccines. Equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a team of renowned experts, the site will facilitate the development of new therapies and treatment options for a variety of medical conditions.

Patrons enjoyed delicious canapes and a beverage to mark the occasion as the Mayor cut the ribbon and declared the site open. The mayor welcomed AusTrials to the area and noted the importance of access to clinical trials for members of the community.
